A new business. With bonus material and bloopers and all. And you're right, I changed the title. Bit too presumptious. But if you want to find out more, got to learn Dutch first. Coz I tried in English, i really did, and it's just too much struggle. And hey i am lot smarter and wittier in my own language. So what i'll do; i'll just give it a go and juice it up with some Dutch whenever i am stuck. K?

Stop here if you have a sensitive stomach

Coz it's gross all the way.

You know in my pre-children situation (which lasted a mere 32 yrs so you can't say i hadn''t had time to think it over, still..) I never realized how much puke, nose stuff, poop and pee i was about to be handling.

Ever seen M. sneeze?
I swear there's 15 inches coming out of his nose and he hails it all back up again. Ok, ok , by that time we've got him a napkin or piece of toilet paper to blow his nose in again. (and why is it that THAT takes them a few yrs to learn ?).

And R. is even worse.
Sometimes when we don''t have any paper near by, he makes them blow in his hand.
AAARRGH.
Even I am shaking my head here.

Ok the poop.
For some reason M. and T. were taught at kindergarten never to wipe their own bottom's (yes, i was about to say ass, but they have to cutiest of bottoms) but stand on all 4 with their bottoms stuck in the air and yell for someone to come over.
Now as you all know, M. became 6 a few wks ago and he''s still at it!

We've been saying things like he's a big boy now (when he started going to school, i asked him how he managed there. He said he only peep in school and saved the rest for home. Figures.)
and i actually taught him how to wipe till there''s nothing more showing on the paper (sorry guys but i did warn you upfront) but it won''t work.

Guess at 18 we''ll just have to find him some nice looking nurse who has dealt with this before.

Just a quickie

A. is back and it's like she never went away.

I am very busy with monitoring the site and seeing who responded when.
Thanks to all of you out there who registrered sofar, i really hope the site will benefit you and i've got great ideas about how to add extra services but for now i am just waiting for my database to be filled.
In a few weeks my free summer's deal ends and then i will hopefully earn some money back for the huge bill P. has left me with :)
no kidding, but it will probably take me 2 yrs to be on a break-even score with the costs i have made sofar, so i am trying to withhold myself a bit.

weather is remarkably good sofar. I mean they warned us to get our own "arc of noah" ready coz extremely heavy rainfall was foreseen, but keeping our fingers crossed.

I am so excited

And I..
feel like a Pointer Sister.

I really really really hope Looking for Friends can go live this afternoon/evening.

Most major parts have actually been altered, the mailingtext and addresses are ready, now we need the first ones to fill the database. Only thing is; P.'s dog had to be taken to the vet this afternoon to be put to sleep and he''s not back yet.

Just my luck!
I am waiting for this site like forever and the day we go live I have a webprogrammer who''s dog decides he has had enough.

Keep you posted !

P.V.S.

We've only been back for 1,5 day but I've got a severe case of Post Vacation Stress.

I've been ironing (and washing ofcourse but that's not the biggest problem) about 5 zillion t-shirts, 3 zillion shorts, folded a couple of hundred towels, sheets and underwear and am not done yet.

There's no toilet paper left.
One of those things you don't want to be needing on a Sunday when the shops are closed.

There are about 15 newspapers, 10 magazines, 3 tax envelopes, too many bills and some random mail waiting to be dealt with.

The living room is even more of a mess than usual.
Sleeping bags, half unpacked bags and crates, new and old toys, bananapeels and stuff like that pop up everywhere.

I have to go over LFF again, to see if the finding mechanism is solved coz i want to go live coming Tuesday

I spoke to my sister in Rumania. M. is leaving August 19 and i can get A. on her flight for that day but 3 weeks after that it's J.'s birthday, so if i try to get her on a flight that Saturday she has to be in Bucharest about 4 in the morning. Wouldn't be looking forward to that one, so what do we do here?

Went over more than 200 pictures and luckily found the black&white and sepia tool but now i don't know if the Hema can accept these among my files so i've send them an email after which they responded they would be happy to answer my question in no more than 3 working days.
Wow, that speed is getting me dizzy!

J. just called. He's at the office, needs my laptop, a drillmachine and some schroefjes coz he wants to install the upgrades today.

My tan is fading by the minute.
Every time i shower i seem to simply rinse it off.
This is not good.
I have to go to the tanning studio somewhere today.

I want to go back to bed.

So. Now. You're. Back.

No not from outerspace, but from France.

Came home yesterday evening. All of a sudden I had had it.
Sleeping on those airmattresses for 2 weeks is not my hobby, dressing/undressing sort of bended down -coz it's difficult to stand up straight in a tent- isn't either and going to the toilets where clearly others went before you, tops it off.

For the rest: we've had a great holiday :)

As ever we've been cycling with an organization that takes care of your luggage and the tents and stuff like that.
You arrive at a campsite (our starting and ending location was Chablis, you know from the wines) where your tent is set up, a table with chairs and some kitchen utensils and a gaz-thing is ready for you.
Every Monday and Thursday you go to another campsite (luggage gets transported) and in between you can make daytrips or do whatever you fancy.

The idea for this year was that I would be taking M. on the prolonged bike behind me and that T. would be in the seat and C. in the Vanley.
As it turned out however, I was in a rather poor physical condition, combined with the fact that Burgundy is not slightly hilly but f**ing steep !

So, R. took the lot. M.'s bike was installed behind his and behind that the Vanley.
And yes, we were quite an attraction ourselves.
I must say, I really couldn't have done what R. did. Some serious claps here.
Man those hills are mean !

Weather's been good overall, I mean we simply couldn't look any paler than we did, so yes we do have a coulour.

Been to castles, abbayes, lakes, swimmingpools, lots of playgrounds, beautiful villages, churches, way too much to remember.
Seen a deer, a hawk, too many damned wasps (M. got bitten 4 times, among which 2 on his birthday!), a fox, that little animal with spikes on his back- runover but also alive and the latter one (obviously) bit R. in his finger when he came too close).

The camera held on great. The whole holiday with 1 set of batteries. And I only took 213 pictures!!
I am charging now and hope to be able to send them to a developer this afternoon.

The car however, is another thing.
R. who went out for shopping about 3 hrs ago, and just called. On the way back yesterday the car was pulling very much to the right. Just before we went to France we had 2 new tires put under and we just guessed they weren't balanced properly.
He said that this morning he almost could not get the car out of the parking lot and as it shook like a madman, he drove it straight to the garage where they noticed the right front tire was torn.
Ok.
So, he'll have something to do this Monday.

Think my second load of laundry is ready to be hung up.

Yes, Yes, Yes

Just got back from a new client!
Finally.

Let's just hope this marks a changes of tides.
T. has found my ring (which was lost for about a week) so let all the good things come around this time.

We're about to pack and get things going for our holiday.

I won't be back till July 25th (a mere 2 weeks) and I need tonight and tomorrow to unwind and prepare myself for a relaxing vacation.
CU all soon !

Pony camp

Last Friday, T. said they were organizing some games week over at her equestrian centre.
We went there and they said; OK they may be a little too little, but let's just see how they're doing this Monday and if they like it, they can stay the rest of the week.

Well, ladies and people, it's official now; we've got 2 Cowboys in the house.

They really are the youngest ones but the (mostly girls) other kids sort of took them under their wings and they've been on a pony twice (You know mom, when the horse starts to hop, you have to stand and sit down, stand and sit down), did some running games, ate 2 sandwiches with sprinklers, in short had a very good day.
They could even take the cap and whip home, so tomorrow they would be ready in time.

Houston, we have a problem

In 5 days time I am going on a holiday

And LFF will barely be or simply not ready.
Turns out they have to change things in the engine software they bought in the States and are not getting any answers back on how to do that.
Press the motherf**! Press them like I am pressing you.
Get your answers.
Call them and get it done !

I am so disappointed in this whole project, all I really want to do is let it go.
I don't want to argue anymore with P. about it or go thru another round of testing and getting annoyed coz it's clear I am the only one testing and the programmers are just not thinking things through.

But I have paid a whole lot of money.
And i am just so pissed that they can't get it up and running that I am going through with it.
(lots of through I know)

And it is cloudy overhere and raining.

I want to curl up in bed with a megasized pack of chips, and chocolate and R. bringing me cups of tea and don't let the children come too near to me now or make their usual noise coz someone is about to be slapped.
