A new business. With bonus material and bloopers and all. And you're right, I changed the title. Bit too presumptious. But if you want to find out more, got to learn Dutch first. Coz I tried in English, i really did, and it's just too much struggle. And hey i am lot smarter and wittier in my own language. So what i'll do; i'll just give it a go and juice it up with some Dutch whenever i am stuck. K?

Finally

Last Monday; phone rings
It's Abigail.
Hey are you guys home for dinner tomorrow evening?

She finally had a flight to Amsterdam and despite the horrible weather that day (we had snow alternating with hail blizzards) had a great evening.
In the picture you see Timo fleeying the scene but Caroline was all over her girlfriend of course

For those of you know who don't know; Abigail was our au pair from August 2004 till december 2005 :)

Canadian Easter bunnies. What can I say. We've had some strangers over recently.

The lady in pink aka Caroline. Using Melissa's props. Sometimes i am considering buying a cam recorder and putting her on youtube. She's sooo funny. And so making a fool of herself. You can tell she's deadly serious here. This morning she made a bow out of toiletpaper and attached that with a bracelet to a hairband. Pretty creative, but she came up to me and said; So, don't i look fantastic? Self confidence is one of the best things in life.

Ineke Whinehouse

I know, whining is sooo uncool but i have to talk to you about our weather.
People in NY talk about commuting and trains, the Dutch talk about the weather.
So..
Yesterday they said on the news, so i guess that makes it official; instead of a white Christmas, we may have a white Easter this year.
Seriously. How bizar is that.
Last year, the only decent weather we had was around Easter (admitting easter was later then) but now this.

I am just not having it.

We survived the weekend!

See, my mother-in-law turned 70 something.

And celebrated with us in one of those houses of Landal Greenpark aka Center Parks or whatever they are called over at your place.
Let's just say, the kids enjoyed it tremendously and it was better than we anticipated.

We have a winner in da house!

Robbert and I have been to Maastricht yesterday, to eat at Beluga, one of the finest acclaimed restaurants of the country. It was top.
Great food, a fantastic host and at about 4 we rolled away from our table to buy shirts, a dress (good timing, not) a golden vest of which caroline wanted to know whether she could have that when i was dead) and bretels for Robbert.
The plan was to chill at the hotel, sleep in , have breakfast and walk around town a bit before heading home, but alas we had to be in Oud Beijerland of all places because Morten had a judo tournament.
So this morning we drove about 300 km home, packed up the lot and saw Morten win his 2nd prize. YEAHHHHH!
Tonight it is museumnight and the girls and i go out.
I wonder if i can make it till midnight.
