A new business. With bonus material and bloopers and all. And you're right, I changed the title. Bit too presumptious. But if you want to find out more, got to learn Dutch first. Coz I tried in English, i really did, and it's just too much struggle. And hey i am lot smarter and wittier in my own language. So what i'll do; i'll just give it a go and juice it up with some Dutch whenever i am stuck. K?

This is the first time

all kids are out to play at someone's house.

Wowee!

i have to make some schedule to see who needs to be picked up where at what time, but hey, i've got 2,5 hrs to myself.
Now the wisest thing to do would be to throw myself upon my taxes.

Right.

I think he's in love with me

This is a true story.
Yesterday, we all went for a stroll, *cough* ride to get me some pictures for my other blog.

We ended up at hotel NY, which was loaded and therefor went to Café Rotterdam.
It was quite sunny (to Dutch standards ofcourse) and after 2 minutes the boys were running around without jackets trying to catch each other.
Because the terrace is at the waterside, they gave me the creeps and luckily C. was staying near our table. She spotted a lonely boy, gave him one look and then spoke the famous words;
I think he's in love with me.

She went over and i must admit, after about 20 seconds took off with him. Have no idea what they were talking about but their heads were a few centimeters apart and they seemed very interested in each other.
Then she smacked him on the chest saying "Tikkie jij bent hem".
The boy was a bit offguard but she took him to our table saying;
These are my parents.
They are called pappa and mamma.

By then the boy had to finish his Fristi and his muffin.
1 minute later C. asked if he wanted to come play and stay over at our place.
Err, the boy said, clearly not used to all this girl power.
He found the perfect solution:
next time you are here, call me and i will come too.

Ok C. said and waved goodbye.

Just wanted to share with you

that M. seems to be ok again.
Tuesday R, took him to the dentist where his pictures were taken but his jaw looks alright.
The thing that is burdening him the most now is this loose tooth that he already had but that because of the fall is now sort of dangling from his mouth.
I would have preferred it if our dentist had simply pulled it out but ok.. we'll just try and persuade him to bump into my hump again (that's how he lost the first one ;)

Furthermore i am deadly busy.
Due to the convention we have been to 2 weeks ago, another one we visited last week and a networking event we visited yesterday evening, we are up to our ears in work, have about 5 appointments a day scheduled and our coffee machine is making overtime.
No problem ofcourse as long as this lead to huge orders and zillion clients but sofar it's just extremely busy.

And i promised G. i would have my tax overviews ready last week.

O
and M. can go for his swimming exam.
1 april. No kidding.
Fingers crossed.
That's also the date T. will have his judo exam for his orange slip and M. will do his exam (because of the swimming) a few days earlier.

O
and this saturday we have a party for one of R.'s friends who turns 40.
Kind request to dress according to the Brazilian theme.
Do they want me to come in my thong or what.
Help me out here, what do i wear?

Oh my poor little big boy

M. fell out of his bed last night.

Een hoogslaper mind you, so he fell about 1,5 mtrs.
Luckily enough into T.'s bed.
But he hurt his face/mouth real bad and for a minute we thought he might have broken his jaw.
He was screaming like a mad man, which however understandible is not nice at 3 in the night when you have at least 3 other people still asleep, and didn't let us touch his face.
He slept in our bed, meaning i almost didn't sleep anymore coz every half hr he would wake up crying.
By that time we had figured out nothing was broken (or better said, everything could still move) but that some teeth were probably loose.

In the morning though, there was still/again blood coming out of his mouth so R. took him to the doctorspost where i have been with several kids and aupairs ;) when they became ill during irregular hours.

45 minutes later they were back.
We were right.
He's got at least 2 loose teeth that will probably settle again during today.
He is not allowed to chew today, has to rinse with salt water (yuk) a couple of times and can only drink cold drinks to stop the bleeding and the swelling.

Oh my poor little big boy.

Geitjes and my kuit

Finally !!
It's still bl*dy cold (-5 till -8 at night can you believe that?) but at least the sun came round today.

Yesterday and today i've been out making photos for Rotterdam Daily Photo so that i have something in stock in times of need.
With R. and the kids we've been to Delfshaven and today i visited the Old Harbor.

We are all stil a bit under the weather.
C. is coughing a lot and simly has a fever but it doesn't stop her from saying things like:
I haven been thinking...
I absolutely don't want you to...

Yesterday morning at breakfast table the boys were at their best talking about "piemels" and "plas" and the likes.
At some point they said, you could only pee when you had a piemel.
O yeah, i said, I don't have a piemel.

No M. replyed.
But you pee with your "kuit"
And he looked at me to see what my reaction would be.
Now i am not going to translate what he was trying to say, but i'll keep at the fact that he was just 1 letter away from it.
I'll show you where my kuit is I said and showed them my calve.
Hilarious ofcourse.
Next thing i know, they were peeing out of bodyparts all over.
Sure.

Now C. has something alike.
She mixes jokes ("geintjes) and goats ("geitjes")
So whenever someone is saying something she doesn't want to believe she says;
Geitje zeker !

Voting

Today we have to vote for the city council. And it's done in C.'s school. They have divided the gym hall into a voting office and a little place is left for the kids.

Weatherwise, today should be the best day of the week, so we really hope spring is about to spring.

This weather has been uncredible unrelyable

One moment we have a roaring snow blizzard with hail and everything, the next, the sun is burning in my back.
As a result this mornings traffic jam is on the 4th position of jams ever.
And half of the kids at school is sick.

Today is R.'s first day at work and Merle's first at school.
I am sure both of them did well.
