How the kids made almost 5 euro

This morning the kids decided for the last time what they wanted to sell and how much they were going to ask.
Appropriate shirts (orange) and face paint (orange) were applied and off we went.
Here you see Timo closing his first deal (3 swords for 25 cts each)
And no. We were not alone in this idea of getting rid of old toys/junk. The hat in the middle of the photo is Timo.
Morten sold his old Pokemon cards (with a bit of heart pain now and then) and here you see a boy from his school checking out the cards.

This is the only sale Caroline made. She sold a Miffy book for 25 cts.

NB: I have just read some horrible news online; the royal family was visiting Apeldoorn today and a couple of hours ago some crazy guy drove his car through all the security. Sofar 2 people have died of the accident and 23 are injured! All the major festivities in the big cities have been cancelled. God.

This afternoon, after 2 weeks of hard work, Timo's and Caroline's class presented what they had learned at their clip dance lessons. I'll start with Caroline in an often expressed pose; her dress up and pulling her panties.

And then there was Timo giving it his all.

She was a bit distracted.

This was the piece where the all had to come in to a circle, one by one, and the one who had the best dance/piece could win a cd with the clip dance music on it. There were 2 cd's to be won.

the financial crisis

is hitting my company a bit too hard.
Keeping our fingers crossed.
we are doing whatever we can and is needed to save as much people as we can but some have to be fired.
So far i have talked to 3 and i really really hope this is all it takes.

Gmail

So.
this morning at breakfast Morten announced he had made a Gmail account at computerclass yesterday.
I just couldn't believe it.

of course i am one of the rare species that still remembers pre internet, but still.

i sent him a mail from the office and when i came home Timo said he wanted to have what Morten had too.

There you have it.

it's only a matter of time (i am guessing 24 hrs will do) before my 6 yr old daughter has a Gmail account.
