on another scale; we are still looking for an office manager.
I am not asking for much (maybe that is our problem)
we just want some one we can laugh with.
who speaks and writes correct Dutch.
who is not too shy, but neither too strong willed or too proud (that is not in my job profile)
who can work fulltime (40 hrs) or 36, or 32 or 4 x 7. I don't care.

Caroline has a boyfriend.

It's been going on for a couple of weeks and last Valentines day she put a Superman card in his closet.
She's been over to play yesterday and David tried to kiss her.
It is beyond funny the way she speaks about the whole affair.

it's nice being cultural

but I need my sleep too!

Last Saturday Melissa and I went to see a museum exhibition in Amsterdam.
2 rooms filled with bronze objects and a movie.
Normally that would have taken me 10 minutes. Most.
Now, we stayed there for 2 hrs.
Honestly, i am an expert on the bronze period.

Sunday it was the filmfestival day.
5 randomly chosen movies, starting at 10 and the last one was at 20.30
As ever, simply great fun.
Then rushing home coz Peter R. de Vries was on tv with the whole natalee holloway thing.

Yesterday, Robbert and I went for a terrific dinner at a Japanese restaurant and then my sister joined us and we went to Paradiso in Amsterdam for the Tower of Power concert. It was an awesome concert but we went to bed around 1 AM and the kids had no mercy a mere 6 hrs later.

I am just getting old *sigh*
