Yes Ladies and People,
Above you see one of the young heroes that ran 1 kilometer today in the official Rotterdam marathon.
At the last moment Robbert decided to join him and ran along and now the 2 of them think of running 5 K next year!
we just heard on the news that somewhere this afternoon the marathon was ended by the mayor. 19 people were already not feeling well because of the heat (do you believe this, almost 30 degrees / 86 F today!) and with the Vierdaagse in mind where last year somebody got a heartattack in the heat and died, no risks were taken

If Robbert gets involved in any more sporting activities hes going to be superman!!!
He will just have to alternate.. one day a 50 mile bike ride.. the next a 50 mile run.. practice makes perfect!!!
p.s. you will never believe what i found today!! i shall send you a photo when i recieve it!!

50 mile run! No way.
first he started bragging about running the whole marathon next year, but i forbade him. With his bad knee he'll end up in a wheel chair in no time so 5 kilometers is just fine.
What is it then?

I am so jealous of your weather! What is the deal here? I am in Virginia, you are in the Netherlands for goodness sake! All I know is that Al Gore can eat my shorts cause we are having a global cooling here!
